I felt like posting about my experience using Linux so far, and bet my ass this gonna some real shit spelling and grammar, but I honestly don't give a fuck. So here we go!
Recently I have switch from Windows 10 to Linux mint, and I would like to share my experience doing all this shit so far with Newgrounds, and why I am genuinely enjoying Linux cleansing me of Shitdows 10 and Microsoft
It started with Youtube in 2024-ish. I had been starting to hearing of this operating system called Lunix, a open source operating system that I had never heard of before. Getting into my homepage thingy with video's talking about it, and I rember thoese video's were about switching over to Linux in response to what I call cancer, Windows 11, and also the youtubers I was subscribed to talking about it. All this talk got me intrigued about what all the fuse was about, as up until then I didn't know about Linux. The only operating system for computers I knew was Windows, and that was it until then,
but I will be honest. I wasn't overly interested in Linux, as I don't really think that the vid sold me on Lunix, that was until a youtuber I had been subscribed to for a while one day uploaded a video that was so good that it made me consider switching too Linux, and that youtuber was JamesLee!
I rember when the vid drop, I was excited and intrigued.
As the title "How I broke up with Adobe" was a intresting title as James had made a vid about 4-5 years called "breaking up with Adobe", and it appeared that he had made a follow up to that vid, and so you maybe asking "Cloudy? Wtf made that video SO GOOD that it made you interested in Linux". Well I won't go into detail about the vid as other wise this whole post will wayyy of topic, but the Linux section was extremly well done with the way James presented everything from the way he talked about how the switch was, and how Linux remind him of when he was tinkering with computor and how hopefull and happy Linux made him feel about tech. Gah that vid was genuinely so well done I should go and re-watch it when I've got my rest and finished writing this post thing
Another thing that factored into me switching to Linux was Shitdows-11. I rember after having a taste of that cancer, it made me want to never update my beloved PC to it EVER! It was that bad, and can honestly make a whole ass post about how much I fucking hate that cancerous shit, but this is not the time for it
The thing that was the final push to move to Linux was that I had found out my own parent had history with Linux, as it turns out my parents wanted to switched to Linux, but for work reasons were forced to used Cancer-10, and so now thx to my parents. I now have Linux on my computor, and it feels like being ceased of demons, or this case Windows, and I'm very happy about it :)
